Department of Automobile Engineering
Since the beginning of the twentieth century, automobiles have entered the lives and livelihoods of almost everyone. They are the most convenient invention since the bicycle. Toyota, Volkswagen, General Motors, BMW, Ford, and Honda are a few examples of large automobile companies that produce vehicles annually in the global market and Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Ashok Leyland, and Mahindra in India. Cars have enabled people to travel around quicker than they used to and made mankind’s lives much more luxurious, convenient, and safe.
Automobile engineering is one of the most challenging careers and has a wide scope. This branch deals with the designing, developing, manufacturing, testing, repairing, and servicing of automobiles, such as cars, trucks, etc., and the related subsystems. The automotive industry has been growing in recent times due to the increasing demand for vehicles, and the job prospects have also increased rapidly.
