The talk was given by Mr. Murlidharan Ramchandra & his team ,Engineer Manager , Resource Infrastructure Management Pvt. India Ltd. On 03/10/2018 at 12.00 PM about the “Product Design and Technologies in Engineering”.This guest lecture was conducted for 5th semester in the department of automobile engineering.

The talk was initiated by briefing about different types of vehicles design processes like manual , digital and robotics . The resource person explained about different types of tool design like press tool , jigs and fixtures and moulding .He explained about the different modelling softwares like CATIA , NX , Solid works , MX CAM and has explained their utilization in automotive designs. In this lecture he showed the importance of robotic simulations in automobile sketching. The talk was very helpful, informative and it gave a very good knowledge about the latest concept of product design and techniques in involvement of modelling process in automotive industries.
