The department of automobile engineering organized the workshop for the students on Design and Fabrication of Go-Kart. It was conducted from 18/01/2016 to 22/01/2016 and around 62 participants were present for the session.

The department of automobile engineering organized the workshop for the students on Geometric Dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T). It was conducted on 17/03/2016 and around 40 participants were present for the session.
Workshop on Autotronics
A workshop on autotronics was conducted by Adormi Technologies 0n 02-04-2016. Students from IV, VI and VIII participated in the workshop along with 2 non teaching staff from department of Automobile Engieering.
Expert lecture on ‘Automotive emissions and environment’
Lecture by given by Mr. G R Reddy, service manager TATA motors, for the students VIII semester. The lecture covered topics like, IC engine emissions, types of emissions, SI engine emissions, CI engine emissions, harmful effects from engine emission, methods to avoid emissions, emission standards-Euro norms and Bharat Stage.
Guest Lecture on Concepts of Wheel Alignment
Lecture by given by Mr. Vikram, Training Manager, Madhu’s Garage Equipment, for the students of III, V and VII semester.

Lecture on ‘Overview of an ATV’ by Mr. Partha, Campus Ambassador, Elite Techno Groups., was conducted for the students. Mr. Partha explained about the layout of an All terrain vehicle (ATV) and a Go-kart.

Expert lecture on ‘Shear stress distribution in beams’
Lecture by given by Dr.Krishnarao dhuri, CEO- Susol Technologies, for the students of IV semester. The topics covered in the lecture are importance of mechanics of materials, concepts of stress, strain, shear stress distribution in beams, torsion, combined loading of torsion, bending and thrust. Lecture ended with a Q&A session.
