16 students of Automobile department visited Lakshmi Machine Works Limited, Coimbatore. LMW has established the machine tool division to manufacture CNC lathes, machining centers and other high tech machine tools. Besides the textile machinery division and machine tool division, LMW also has the foundry division manufacturing ductile iron and grey iron castings. Students were explained to variety of machine tools which gave them a practical exposure to industry.
