The webinar “Future Of Electric Vehicles” held on 01^st June, 2021 at 11:00AM and was organized by the Department of Automobile Engineering, New Horizon College Of Engineering and the speaker for the webinar was DR. MANOJ MODANIDirector, Director-Automotive Test Systems, Delhi.” There were about 125 participants who attended the webinar, and the webinar was conducted using Zoom.Dr. ManojModani gave an insight of the country wise statistics of the electric vehicle sales globally and why it is not yet fully accepted in India. An insight on how electricity the EVs consume can be generated from the wide range of sources like Fossil Fuels, Nuclear Power, and Renewable Sources such as Solar Power, Hydro Power and Wind Power was detailed.
