A workshop on Design and Fabrication of All Terrain Vehicle was conducted in two slots from 13th August to 15th August and from 19th August to 27th August 2017. 30 students, one faculty and 2 non-teaching staff took part in the workshop. In this workshop, participants had an exposure to vehicle dynamics like chassis and suspension, suspension and steering and on Braking and power train. They were trained in vehicle designing of disc brake, steering, springs and dampers, tires and rims using SOLID WORKS SOFTWARE and analysis using FEA. Participants had a hands-on experience of fabrication like welding and assembling different parts of ATV. Participants were also trained in all the safety measures that have to be taken by driver while building an ATV.
